Episode Brief
Magnum, Tyler and Higgins are held prisoner by the Vietnamese major that has a reign of terror over Chong Ker. Notes
1 A milestone has been reached - This is the 100th Syndicated Episode of the series!

2 After the opening credits, there is short recap of the events of part one. Tom Selleck opens the recap with the following narration: "Last week on Part One, All For One." This is a first for the series!

3 The on-screen title of this episode is "All For One, Part II", with no brackets. The previous two-part episode, "Echoes Of The Mind" (5.2), had "Part II" in brackets.

4 Rick enlisted in the Marines in 1969 after the World Series and joined Magnum's team in 'Nam "around Christmas time" of that year. He replaced "Cookie" (the POW who is killed by Col. Ivan in the flashback scenes of "Did You See the Sunrise? (1)") as T.C.'s door gunner. Growing up in Chicago, Rick was a huge Cubs fan. He hasn't been to a Cubs game since he enlisted in the Marines. He names several Cubs players, including Ernie Banks, Don Kessinger, and Ron Santo.

5 In the shootout on the river with the bandits, Selleck again shows his real-life weapons experience by firing his MP5 in short, controlled, aimed bursts with the extended stock firmly against his shoulder, no flinching or blinking to be seen. Hillerman again shows his relative inexperience by "spraying and praying" into the jungle, stock retracted, closing his eyes every time he pulls the trigger. Mosley alternates between halfway decent technique in long shots and awful weapons handling in the closeups, failing to pull the butt into his shoulder and spraying rounds at random. Manetti doesn't get enough trigger time to accurately assess his abilities with the '60, but the long burst he fires into the tree to get his man is riding the edge of firing for too long. The M60 was known for the difficulty of changing overheated barrels. (Noted by RamblerReb)

6 Rick is seen using a Detonics CombatMaster .45 ACP semi-automatic pistol in this episode. T.C. uses a Heckler & Koch HK91! (ID'd by MaximRecoil)

7 Dr. Lon Teng (Clyde Kusatsu) uses a M16A1 fitted with a M203 grenade launcher in the climactic jungle battle.

8 The fat-barreled submachine guns Magnum and Tyler are carrying when they are caught are H&K MP5SD's, a silenced variant of the MP5. The fat barrel is actually an integral suppressor, one of the most effective around. (Noted by RamblerReb)

9 Kengi, the Robin's Nest workman, is seen raking the tidal pool beach. He also makes brief appearances in "No Need to Know" (1.5), "Computer Date" (2.14), "Echoes of the Mind (2)" (5.2), "Blind Justice" (5.7), "Little Games" (5.12), "Professor Jonathan Higgins" (5.13) & "Ms. Jones" (5.19).

10 Rick apparently has the rare AB Negative blood type (present in only 1% of the population), because Higgins gives him a partial blood transfusion with his own blood, which is AB Negative (Season Two's "Italian Ice").
Quotes
1
Maj. Thieu: J.J. Quincannon is dead. And your friend here should know that. He saw me kill him, as I will personally do to him... and you. But unlike you Americans, I ask questions first and shoot later. Have a nice day.

2
Tyler McKinney: Outasight!

3
Magnum: ...and this captain, he just...looked at us sitting there in the chopper. And he knew we'd ripped him off and knew there wasn't a damn thing he could do about it. But he had Eddie, so he took out his pistol...smiled...and blew Eddie's head off. I'll always remember the look on his face.
Higgins: Eddie's?
Magnum: No, the Captain's. He's a Major now. I didn't put it all together until he smiled, but he's the same man who's torturing Tyler McKinney right now.
Flubs
1 When Magnum, T.C., Rick, Higgins and Tyler start shooting at the bandits from the boat, watch the crate next to Magnum. It has bullet holes in it, but then about 5 seconds later it doesn't. It alternates between having holes and not having holes a few times. (Noted by seahawks1)
