 Region 4 release date announced for Magnum P.I. - The Complete Eighth Season DVD8/2/2008 - The release date for The Complete Eighth Season DVD in Region 4 will be September 3rd, 2008. Region 4 encompasses Oceania, Central and South America, the Caribbean, and Mexico. This is great news for Aussie MPI fans! With this final region-release, the Magnum P.I. series on DVD is now complete. All eight seasons are available for purchase, in all regions! |
 Magnum P.I. - The Complete Eighth Season DVD released in Region 1!3/4/2008 - Universal has released the 8th and final season of Magnum P.I. on DVD in Region 1. The Complete Eighth Season is a 3-disc set featuring all 12 episodes from the final season ('87-'88). It also features commentary by producers Jay Huguely and Chas. Floyd Johnson on 3 episodes. The Rockford Files episode "White on White & Nearly Perfect" (w/ Selleck) is included as a bonus. The DVD will be released in Region 2 on May 19th. |
 NBC shuts down Las Vegas!2/22/2008 - There will be no more Tom Selleck sightings in Las Vegas! After 5 seasons and 106 episodes (19 for TS), NBC has decided not to renew the long-running show for another season. The series finale aired on February 15, 2008 (with 19 of the 22 planned episodes filmed) and left many issues unresolved. Fans have created a grassroots campaign ("Save Las Vegas: Operation Baby Booties") to try and save the show! |
 Magnum P.I. t-shirt spotted in Las Vegas!2/4/2008 - In the February 1st, 2008 Las Vegas episode "2 on 2", series star Josh Duhamel (Danny McCoy) is seen wearing a yellow Magnum P.I. t-shirt while playing in a basketball tournament!  Magnum-themed mobile phone game released!11/28/2007 - German mobile game creator and publisher Ojom GmbH has released a java-based, platform-style game for mobile phones that is based on the Magnum P.I.
