The Anderson Estate (Pahonu)

a.k.a. Robin's Nest. Located just south of Waimanalo Beach (southeast coast of Oahu) at 41-505 Kalanianaole Highway. The estate was built in 1933 in a Spanish Colonial Revival style and has been owned for decades by former local politician Eve Glover Anderson. The estate is also known as "Pahonu" ("turtle enclosure" in Hawaiian) because the enclosed tidal pool was once a "sea turtle pond" for an ancient Ali'i (High Chief) that favored turtle meat. Prior to Magnum P.I.. the estate was used in several other television shows, including Hawaii Five-0 (10 episodes), Charlie's Angles, Vega$, and Murder, She Wrote.
