Great Scott!! The "Island Hopper" view of the estate are incredible!
The roof colour of the main house looks green now (are my eyes playing tricks on me) and not the black/brown which is a real shame, but if it is a new roof at least it is not leaking on the inside! The chimney is now white like part of the guesthouse. The tarps are still up on the upper balcony, so there still might be water issues (or just privacy issues). Transitions?

Thanks again!!!!!

Nice pictures and thanks for sharing!

From one picture it seems repairs are slowly being made to the house as since I was there in February, the chimney has been repaired and painted.
Nice to know that at last some repairs are being made.

Since the blue tarp has been hanging from the second level for a couple of years now, I think it is more for privacy than anything else.

Thanks for sharing your photos. Looks like paradise to me!

Funny, the big hullabaloo that went down regarding the alleged dredging of the tidal pool doesn't look bad anymore.

Much adieu about nothing?

It's always a wonder to me that this place is just sitting there as I type this right now and I am not at it....

I agree with Styles, that is a postcard picture. Did my eyes deceive me or was one of the doors open into the boathouse..............

Aloha guys! Thanks for all the great comments, much appreciated. Yeah Styles, amazing weather every single day we were there, pure paradise. Driving out to the Robin's Nest in the Mustang was pure bliss, single lane with beautiful mountains on one side and ocean on the other. One cool thing that happened when we got there was getting changed into the boardies at the the beach park when a group of local school kids turned up and they played their ukeleles and sang traditional Hawai'in songs in the change rooms - amazing acoustics! The Nataorium is beautiful too, can't believe they might be puliing it down... And the Byodo-In Temple is just stuniing and so peaceful... Glad you guys enjoyed - mahalo ;)

I thought so as well, but appears to be just another door of a different color and construction. I was hoping for a peak inside too.

Sadly no J.J. - the trade off was visiting Robin's Nest & Byodo-In Temple, then Waikele Shopping Outlets... can't win 'em all!

Will do next time, this is going to be a yearly trip now... flew over the North Shore in the chopper, here's some pics.
