Never heard anything like this either. I do know he founded a repertory theatre in his childhood neighborhood of Watts in Los Angeles before he was on Magnum. He has also been in a relationship dating back to before Magnum as well.

"How fiendishly deceptive of you Magnum. I could have sworn I was hearing the emasculation of a large rodent."

Yes, i am not able to get my hand on it. It was on the net and years ago.
This article was also about alcohol addiction concerning that actor... sounds weird in the light of the present thread.

My rememberance is that Roger was mentionned.

From your expertise, it appears to be gutter gossip.

Re: Which episode is this from and is T.C. drinking beer?
Here is something interesting concerning T.C. and drinking that I noticed today. In 2.05 "Memories Are Forever" there is a flashback scene to Vietnam. It is the night before Magnum and Michelle are to be married and a sort of makeshift bachelor party that includes the bride. All four of them, including T.C. seem to be drinking what looks like Champagne, but they are drinking it out of tumblers which makes little sense (makeshift Vietnam party?). Here is a screenshot of it taken at 24:38:
It is dark, but T.C. seems to be toasting with the same beverage. Since this flashback was in season 2, I am willing to assume that the writers wanted to have T.C. drinking in the past (as he did in the pilot), but not in the rest of the show. In my mind he quit drinking after the pilot because he was the responsible role-model mentioned above and also it is hard to be a drinker and have Magnum ask you to fly you about without notice (strict FAA rules).
And of course I am overthinking this. It was just a TV show.

Not overthinking. What’s the fun of talking about the show if you can’t invent your own backstory and headcanon? Sounds logical to me!

Hi everyone !
Is it possible that T.C. was only proposing a toast for the gesture with his comrades-in-arms without drinking at all ?
Does Teatotaller discipline imply not to have a little sip in important occasions ?
In France, not toasting with comrades is a sign bringing bad luck...

Good point. This picture is evidence of nothing.Gorilla Mask wrote:Hi everyone !

Yes, from a strictly logical way... but your explanation is far more elegant !80s Big Hair wrote:Good point. This picture is evidence of nothing.Gorilla Mask wrote:Hi everyone !
