It’s official! The worlds of Hawaii Five-O and Magnum P.I. are the same. It was confirmed during the panel Magnum P.I. at Comic-Con. Dr. Noelani (played by Kimee Balmilero) will be in pilot, and Kamekona (played by Taylor Willy) will be in episode 1.02. And according Peter Lenkov eventually the plan is a full-fledged crossover but not at the moment. Peter says also he will suggest that McGarrett from Hawaii Five-0 knows of Magnum since they both are former Navy Seals. Peter also reveal that original plan was to bring Magnum to Hawaii Five-0 as a friend of McGarrett years ago, but couldn’t because the characters were under different company licenses.
I'm so happy about this because I'm huge fan of H50. I thought that such characters as Duke, Kamekona, and Dr. Noelani can appear without problems in Magnum P.I. from time to time. Noelani is medical examiner for City of Honolulu, not Five. Duke working for HPD. And Kamekona has contacts all over the island.

Totally cheesy and predictable.
I like H50 fine but think this is dumb to do.

Knocking my rubber chicken or my sloppy habits is within the rules, but you're attacking my character. I would like to think you don't mean that.

In the original series the Five-O characters were mentioned, but there was no cross-over. Of course now the two shows run concurrently so it is possible. I just hope they keep their respective distance too as I don't want to see a constant "buddy flick" with Steve and Thomas.

Peter posted new promo. And we see for the first time Dr. Noelani Cunha (played by Kimee Balmilero), character from Hawaii Five-0.

Peter posted photo from the set of episode 1.02. We see for the first time Taylor Wily as Kamekona.

I usually like tie-in's. As a comic book fan going back to the 70s I liked when supporting characters would show up in another book, say Misty Knight and Colleen Wing from Power Man & Iron First appearing in The Uncanny X-Men, even crossovers like the Earth-1 Justice League of America teaming up with the Earth-2 Justice Society of America, heck Tony Start and Nick Fury all over the current MCU . . . or even Thomas Sullivan Magnum and the Simon brothers.
The thing is, you have to have quality interacting, and supporting, quality. When you multiply a negative, well . . .

In that case two very bad shows crossing over would be very good I kid, I'm a kidderConchRepublican wrote:I usually like tie-in's.
