Hi J.J.
Right back at you, Buck-o. The Dubliners are the best, and they perform the greatest Last Call song ever, "Bugger Off". Anyone with even a trace of the Ol' Sod in their veins
will find themselves smiling and singing along with it.
When my buddy in the 82nd was being sent overseas he made his wife swear that if he bought the farm she would arrange for a graveside rendition of it after the formal ceremonies, as his father had done, no Amazing Grace with pipers for him.

Thanks for sharing this Georgie Fame tune, I really enjoyed it. I confess I have never heard of him before.
Dobie
From the Combat! tv series a true piece of soldiers humor:
Sgt. Saunders hails a passing truck and orders it to take his injured squad member Kirby back to the first aid station.
As a badly wounded Kirby is placed in the back of the truck next to a coffin he says admiringly: "Sarge, you think of everything."

Hi Luther's nephew Dobie... I'm trying to remember if that song has ever been used in a movie... if not you would need old bones to know it...When is the last time you heard. "GROOVY HI-FI"

I'm feeling sentimental right now. This is a longtime favorite of mine. Christine McVie, "Songbird". A song that the Buckingham-Nicks era of Fleetwood Mac would always end their shows with. This song always brings a tear to my eye. I love Stevie, but I've always loved Christine more. Just wow! They don't have bands like this anymore!

Cool clips, Conch! I like his style. Putting the cig on the headstock like 'ol Keith Richards! He's good. I like his voice.
I thought when you said "Just came down for the weekend" that you meant that you came down to Key West for the weekend! LOL! I was about to say, "I wish I had your life!" And then I noticed the song title.

^You may recognize the drummer here. His name was Mickey Jones; he went on to be a character actor in tons of tv shows and movies. He passed away abut a month ago.
