Anyone up for MPI trivia?

For all non-episode specific topics about the show, including MPI-related "tie-ins"

Anyone up for MPI trivia?

#1 Post by N1095A »

Apologies if this has been done before, but I thought it might ne fun if we could all come up with some MPI episode trivia questions. The first to answer correctly gets to post their own question. I'll start.

1) What was the name of the person who Magnum shared an office with after resigning from the Navy?

Ahhh this was from "Dream a Little Dream".

N,

I don't think it was a private investigator, but it was an accountant or something like that. I want to say it was an Asian name, but I may just be confusing him with George Wormy from "I Witness

It was from "Dream A Little Dream". and you may be right on his being an accountant, I'd have to rewatch to be sure. You're very warm on the name.

Wow, that's a tough one to start off the game! I totally missed that reference in the episode, so I have no idea what the answer is, but I'd sure like to know!
Higgins: It's not a scratch! It's a bloody gouge!

Totally N,

I'm still on season 2 of my elliptical morning routine w/ Magnum (Wave Goodbye).

I THINK it's like Harry Fu or something like that. Well, won't know for another couple of weeks, so I'll let a forumite answer this question.

Nice post though!

I won't post my question until this one is answered.

Right you are Doc Ibold, CPA, Insurance, Notary, Real Estate. TM didn't work for him, just shared office space. Gee Whiz! I'm askin' trivia questions, and I don't even have my facts right.

Do we have to wait for an answer before asking another question? Because I have sort of a co-related one to this one: What does the actress who played Karen Teal (Cindy Pickett) in "Dream a Little Dream" have in common with Shelley Fabares of "The Donna Reed Show"?

Doc,

Hang in there! I bet Island Hoppers comes up with the answer. He knows every little detail of everything and everybody! I doubt this connection got past him.

I mean, this is almost an unfair thread because IH will be able to answer every question, won't he?

I'm not being critical of him at all -- just plain ole envy!

Golf,

I am guessing Shelly and Cindy are related.... probably wrong cause that has nothing to do with MPI...

I'll give it a little while longer. I would like the person who gets the previous question to post the next one, but it's just an idea.

I'm not really sure what the question is, so I'll just answer: "Higgins."

Didn't Shelley Fabares sing a song back in the day? Maybe Cindy Pickett did too?

Beats me!

I just finished watching season 4 a couple days ago so I think I've got it. Felix Fong and and he was a CPA, Notary etc. as mentioned above. It was in "Dream a little Dream".

OK, here's a twofer in terms of questions once Golf's one gets answered....

1) Where in Texas does Elmo Ziller reside?

2) How many children does Higgins sister have?
