Recreating The Guest House
I am in the process of Remodelling the downstairs Den and thought that it wold benefit from a Magnum p.i. makeover.
I want to get as much info on the many props, paintings and fixtures as I can.
Attached are a few Screen Shots and ideas that I had.
I could use a hand trying to find out the names of some of the Artwork on the walls.
ie: the Octagon shaped Parrot Art at the bottom of the stairs and the Sleeping Horse artwork in the bedroom.
Thanks All.

Wow, you're going to turn your basement into the guesthouse (aka Magnum's pad)?.... AWESOME!!
Phew, I don't think anything besides the Gauguin painting has ever been officially ID'd (at least not here anyway). The whale painting looks familiar, but I've never seen it ID'd either. Most of the smaller props stuff are going to be hard to find, although I recall seeing some of it on eBay over the years.
What a neat project!

Higgins: It's not a scratch! It's a bloody gouge!
The whale painting,or at least the artist was identified in Rick's blog.
The artist is George Sumner.
Both Selleck and Hillerman are listed as clients in the Sumner web page.

Much better than turning one's den into Pee Wee's Playhouse.
