Along the lines of what Coops is saying, I find it hilarious that many times duing the series we hear someone say, "I knew that Ferrari wasn't yours" (or something very similar). It all serves to keep Magnum vulnerable which is part of his appeal.

Do you find it strange that, despite being shot so many times, TC continues to take Magnum up in his chopper? How many windshields has TC replaced?

I find it stranger that, with all the bullets going through the windows so many times, NO ONE gets HIT (except for the plotline where TC gets shot instead of TM) and there's no OTHER damage to the heli! Like the bullet evaporates -- POOF! -- after it penetrates the window?

Do you find it strange that despite the Estate being a secured compound,
vehicles come up the driveway, while Higgins and Magnum are both outside? Who presses the access button? :)

Do you find it strange the TS was a badass veteran seal who seems to whine at minor pain?

I have often wondered that as well. Maybe it is the maid.....or hey, maybe the lads push the button. They can release skeet.

... TM never seemed to have any money, yet he wore high end sun glasses, sneakers, watches, had an expensive surf ski etc. etc. The Rolex, and Ferrari are understandable, but his personal wardrobe was full of higher end items.

I have posed the same question. He always had the perfect duds to wear to every occasion. He borrowed a dinner jacket from TC once and a tux from Robin's collection. Other than that, he must have spent all of his money on clothes.

Luther, Suppose since he had no living expenses i.e. mortgage/rent, car payment, virtually all of his income was disposable?

Do you find it strange that, except in Don't Eat the Snow in Hawaii, Magnum never takes his right hand off the steering wheel, so that he can shift gears in the Ferrari?
Higgins: You've washed the car?! How extraordinary. Why would you do such a thing?

I guess Since TM never paid the club or TC for his outstanding bill he must have spent the little he earned on clothing....

Although it was also intimated that he never really got paid by his clients....

Nah . . . Jan Kona felt indebted to him for saving her life and sent him a new wardrobe each season as payback.

That's a good point. No rent and no car payment could give him a good disposable income. Even with his meager earnings he could always live pretty well, and I could see TM raiding the fridge in the main house.

Listen to the engine revs and watch his hands. The engine sounds were put in later. He is very rarely seen shifting, but the soundtrack has the shifts just right. I figure that the 308 is pretty quiet and the engine had to be dubbed in anyway. It probably couldn't be heard over the ambient street noise.
