Is Posting Short Video Clips Permitted?

I have a few video clips of some of my favorite episodes which I edited and pieced together. Was just wondering if posting video is ok to do so at this website? Again, these are short clips, roughly one to seven minutes each. thanks

Not the vid, but has the music from MBG with the "with my luck, I'll make it!" line from Buck. J.J. has MANY of these type clips already rounded up and organized for us! You'll have to ask him though about posting vids here.

I read and like your idea, but again, it's pretty much up to James.

If you just upload to youtube and link from a post I can't see a problem. Is that what you're thinking?

Yes, that is all, you get to see the short clips. It would make the entire site more interesting when you can go back and see what people refer to. I figured out how to take the clips of video I had on DVD and then upload it to Youtube. Members could just click on it to view it.

I get the hunch since there is no video link posted on this site, only audio, that someone in charge would have a problem with it. But then, it is just a link, there is no copyright infringement for posting a link. Youtube could care less about an 80s TV show.

Thanks J.J., I am surprised by your response simply because I would think more video links would have been posted if it was permitted but I can't recall one I came across on this site other than the ones you referred me to.

I look forward to posting these videos in the next day or two.

All viewers will have to do is click on them to get decent quality video. I have at this time a total of 5 clips, from 5 episodes.
