As long as we're talking about Chevys...I had a 1978 Caprice Classic that I bought when it had over 100,000 miles on it. I drove it for 9 years and put over 200,000 on it myself. We spent very little money on it...just tune-ups and tires. It was the most amazing car I ever owned! Just thought I'd share!
Coops wrote:LOL, well that runs that gammit; a Ford station wagon to a BMW. As for the 308, I still love that car as much now as I did then. And I still get a chuckle when Magnum says it's a $30,000 car, like that's really expensive now!
Actually he said it was a $60,000.00 car
As for me, I have a Dodge truck, the MRS drives a (really nice) Ford Explorer. As for the MPI vehicles I was always fond of the 1980 Jimmy. Shame we didn't see more of it.
Do you know you' re not unlucky with gas prices in U.S. ?
Now in my city 1 liter = 1,50 euro ! => 1 gallon = 8,80 $
Our gas is cheaper but our health insurance bites!
Oh and to keep with the car theme, a Toyaota Corrolla 2001. Never have been a car guy. As long as it gets from point A to B, I'm good, though in the show I liked the Jimmy-seemed more practical to me
Mitsubishi Eclipse spyder 1998 convertable. I always wanted a drop top since I was a kid watching Magnum. Soo my decision buying the car a few years ago car was completely inspired by the show Lol!
Guess what people??? I am no longer wheel-less! I've been without a car since January 22nd of this year. I finally saved up enough $$$ to pay cash for a car! It's not a Ferrari, but it sure beats walking! Woohooooooo!!
I drive a 2001 Audi S4....I am a car/performance nut so I guess I dont count...haha. Ive always loved the S4's style and I am proud to say Higgins driving the 5000 got me interested in buying an Audi.
