4th of July Marathon

#1 Post by IKnowWhatYoureThinking »

I think with the 4th of July holiday approaching, and my wife having to work a little this weekend, I will take time to have my own Magnum marathon. I'll break out the chili dogs, Fig Newtons, substitute Yuengling for Coops, and have fun watching several episodes. Home From The Sea is a must. Everyone have a great 4th!

Not going out on the surf ski, huh? I don't blame you :D .

Sounds like a great Fourth! Maybe I'll have a marathon too. Man, I should have planned for a big Fourth of July Luau. Oh well, missed my chance.

Then again, I can always throw a luau next weekend.

Regards,

Sammy

Sounds like a good time. Unfortunately after about 5 episodes, my wife usually starts giving me signals that she's tired of 'em.

Great idea for the 4th! Have to start with Home From the Sea .

Although we are having a few people over for a barbeque, I'm going to have MPI on the family room TV. If guests wander into the house, they may want to check it out. Hope to get a few more devoted fans that way :)
Higgins: You've washed the car?! How extraordinary. Why would you do such a thing?

Well, it rained mostly here in Houston. But after a few hours it did clear up and we spend time in the pool, BBQ'd a lot of meat and watched fireworks for an hour or so.

I bookended the holiday weekend with Magnum.

Friday morning, before we left to visit family, Magnum was on Sleuth as a holiday marathon. I had that on while getting ready.

We stayed over and came home Saturday evening. Well . . .the marathon was still going strong so we caught an episode Saturday afternoon then a couple more Sunday morning.

Luckily, my wife has become a fan. Not a 5 shows in a row fan (I'm not sure I could sit for 5 hours straight), but she enjoys them.

My wife likes Magnum and football as well, but not to the extent that I do. I've got my nine year old step daughter into Magnum as well. She'll call me Magnum and request that I call her Higgy Baby.

My little boys (3 and 5 years old) where riding their bikes in the backyard some days ago and nearly collided, one shouted "Higgiiiiiiins" and the other answered "Oh my God" - I nearly fell off the fence laughing
