Re: Waimanolo and the Estate
Yep...sure looks like they must have brought in dirt/sand by the truck loads! Are the "steps" still there...where they used to be? Couldn't really tell from the pics. You know, the ones that TM went through in the pilot and left the dog whistle recording outside of to lure the hounds out the gate, s...

Re: Waimanolo and the Estate
: Looks just like it was back in the 80s when they filmed the show. When I was there in 2018 and went swimming in the tidal pool the water was splashing right against the sea wall. The water was about knee-high at the sea wall. I kid you not. Couldn't figure out whether it was extreme high tide tha...

Re: Waimanolo and the Estate
Great pics! Thanks for posting. It looks like the "beach" is closer to being how it was back in the 80's as far as being wider between the sea wall and the waters edge...or maybe it's just the angle the pic was taken from? You did say you were there during high tide, and I recall having seen pics ot...

Re: Waimanolo
Will be visiting Waimanolo on Saturday to check out what they did to Robin’s Nest. Still sad the old Estate is gone. Will wave to everyone from the Tidal Pool. Plan on taking a pic on the famous square whatchamacallit (what is that called anyway?) 🌴 Anxiously waiting for your "wave"! Wo...

Re: ConchRepublican
I heard he took his surf ski out for a jaunt. Fell off, but was rescued by some yacht that had 3 Japanese females that were out for a joy ride. One of which was talking about the Magna Carta and Lincoln. Haven't heard from him since he radioed me saying something about finding some deserted island ...

Re: 40th Anniversary Watch Party
Is anybody still watching? I'm watching "The Arrow That Is Not Aimed" right now, and every time I watch this one, I keep wanting to call Tozan by the name Mr. Sakamoto. I usually see him as "Akiro" the wizard from Conan the Barbarian, or as the VC general when Hawkeye and crew made the prisoner swa...

Re: Raven
'Flori and Dori' was a poor one to go out on I thought, no spoilers on here of course. You're right about the mix of Majors & Meek. I listened to an interview with Jeffrey Meek the other day and he said 'Raven' became too homogenized i.e. too similar each week. He says explicitly they wanted more o...

Re: Magnum pi on getTV
Anybody who's anybody gets Get/tv. It's a local affiliate feed. It's a good station if you want to watch Walker, Texas Ranger over and over and over... There's nothing like watching an older show in 480i. Well, there is as a matter of fact. GIVE ME 1080P OR GIVE ME DEATH! DAMMITT! Ok, I'll take 108...

Re: Magnum pi on getTV
Naaaaaa...........42's a great answer......and a great number! No need for the doom&gloom! :D I don't get....get/tv....so I'll just have to watch on FreeVee or any one of the series sets I have on hand. (have to have backup...in case I wear one out, or something "happens" to the one I'm using.) ALOH...

Re: Anybody ever watch Burn Notice?
Been watching Burn Notice on HULU lately, and really starting to like it. I lived in Miami back in the 70's and it's sorta neat seeing "familiar" territory. The further it gets into the series, the better the story gets, at least in my opinion. Jeffery Donovan does a great job of playing a "spy".......
