I have to confess, if you'd never seen MPI and read that list, you'd think the show was utter nonsense!

Not an easy one, as I like all the episodes, even the ones I think are a bit rubbish. Magnum and co are like a big family... you'll watch it for them, no matter the quality of the story! Don't know if this helps, but Lady Ashley says "tres amusant, Jonathan" to Father Paddy during the dinner scene in "Echoes of the Mind Part 2", when she thinks he is Higgins in disguise.

In first place is "Faith and Begorrah"... the further revelations about Higgins' father were a delight.

"The Elmo Ziller Story" came a close second... though I'm not a big cowboy fan myself.

"Who Is Don Luis" was a little thin, but I greatly enjoyed Hillerman's accent - and indignation!
