First of all, full disclosure: I rarely if ever watch this show. Well, the wife had it on, then called out, "Look at this helicopter!". I turned around and lo and behold was the Island Hoppers helo, in the background of the opening scene. I couldn't see the numbers on the tail boom, but there it was, clear as day!
:D
I backed up my DVR to try and see if it had any of the familiar numbers on it but didn't see any. Sure was cool to see and I was hoping Kamekona might make reference to TC or Island Hoppers (alas he did not)

Have read quite a few responses on the net to this weeks episode and TC's chopper was spotted by many! Also read a few suggestions that TS should star in an episode either playing Magnum or himself. That would be great!

Did anyone notice that it was George Takei (aka Sulu from Star Trek), who played Chin's aging relative? Just love it when actors from the past are cast in 5-0.

Lastly, after a few questionable episodes at the beginning of this season, anyone else agree recent episodes have been a lot better?

Seems the next three weeks will feature re-runs.

Oh Myyyy!!!George Takei was on Dennis Miller's radio show last week promoting his appearance on that episode. I was surprised how little he was on the screen as they flew him all the way to Oahu and put him up for such a small part. I'm betting he will make a return visit in the future and I am still looking forward (hopefully) the return of James Caan..........

I saw it as well. My wife even commented on TC's chopper.

That was an awesome sight to see! Anyone seen the ad for the next episode a week from Monday? Viewers are going to pick the ending. There are three suspects in the next episode.
Whoever the viewers pick to be the suspect also alters the ending. Three different suspects, three different endings. They'll post all three endings on the CBS website after the show.

I like the idea......I guess the writers are still struggling and need our help to make it a hit.....sounds like fun!

Larry Manetti's post on FB yesterday, Busily packing and getting ready to head to Hawaii this weekend to film my role in Hawaii Five-0 and the beautiful Jennifer Horn found this great article and sent it to Nancy. I am very excited to get out of this atypical Los Angeles rain and head to the sunny beaches of Hawaii!

For those who love the original H50, Monday nights episode is a modern version of the "Hookman" episode with flashbacks to the original episode. You can watch the original episode on the CBS website if you're like me and never saw the original.

Good character for Larry, I hope they bring him back. I just wish he would have worn the team ring as his pinky ring...........

Great to see Larry on the tube again. That was a heck of punch by "The Kid"! Frank taught him that. LOL! :)

Good to see Manetti in the ep. watching it now. I should have asked my bartender at my fave bar La mariana, to clue me in, give me a heads up, I could have done more atmosphere work and been background in that ep. dag blast it. Done some film related work at La Mariana in the past...

His "Where do you think you're going?!" Line sounded just like something Rick would say. 8) :)
