Given the choices... I went with Kika.

I agree with Dervish... where are Tanaka and Ibold?

(That sounds like a cop show)

Mac gets better when he dies!!! it seems paradoxical but Jim Bonnick is really a great character and opens the serie to the further forward border line situations: Magnum always calls him Mac! (and after being in coma, Magnum lives in a quite different reality and handle with the real Mac apparition)
Agatha: Why does he always do that, Jonathan?
Higgins: I don't know, Agatha. I think sometimes our creator is testing me. Indeed it could be for no other reason. If i thought otherwise i believe i truly would go irrevocably irretrievably mad!

And Agatha!! I should ban you right now for forgetting Agatha! ..... hehe, just kidding, man. ;)

I gotta go with Tanaka, with Agatha coming in at a close second, followed by Carol and Luther.
Higgins: It's not a scratch! It's a bloody gouge!

From the choices given I voted for Luther. The character was just perfect.

Based on the choices, I had to go with Mac. He was a part of some of my favorite episodes, and, IMHO, some of the series best episodes.

Couldn't be a co-inky-dink!

I chose Lily because for me she encompassed all that TM was about. His innocence, his sincerity and total devotion to friends and family. The story of course begins with Memories Are Forever, which for me is arguably the best episode and then it continues and is concluded with her eventual reunion with him, which to me was so moving. Possibly also because I am a recently divorced dad with a 7 year old daughter who lives away from me...

Other than Lily, Luther would definately be my second choice, a superb character made even better by Eugene Roche. Simply perfect casting.

From those choices I like Buck Greene just because it was always nie to see he and Magnum butt heads, but Lt. Tanaka has to be my all time favorite.

I went for Mac.

Whichever "version" of him you're talking about, he was a fun character. From the early episodes where Magnum would con him for classified information, to his dead ringer Jim Bonnick, who appeared in some of the best later episodes. Not to mention the ghost of Mac thrown in for good measure!

If i remember well Mac/Jim Bonnick/Father Jim is also Ski the guard giving a pass to Magnum when he goes picking his friend up in the pilot episode.
Agatha: Why does he always do that, Jonathan?
Higgins: I don't know, Agatha. I think sometimes our creator is testing me. Indeed it could be for no other reason. If i thought otherwise i believe i truly would go irrevocably irretrievably mad!
