Reboot on DVD/Blu Ray?

#1 Post by Higgins (aka Bondtoys) »

Fans of the Original Series-Only will love that question:

Are there any plans to issue the reboot on proper media such as DVD or Blu Ray?

I haven’t seen anything yet but would be surprised if they don’t . There are dollars to be made ! With digital down loads being the thing now there might be less demand but if they do I hope we get a lot of extras .

Knocking my rubber chicken or my sloppy habits is within the rules, but you're attacking my character. I would like to think you don't mean that.

Bondtoys I did some looking around and found a place that looked like it had a place holder page for the blue rays . They listed it as unavailable so maybe they will be available soon .

I can almost hear Jonathan Higgins saying "You can't be serious". :higgins:

I only tune into the new show if I'm home Monday night and there's nothing else to do. Just out of curiosity. Once it's done I quickly forget about it. I have zero interest in ever rewatching any of these episodes again, but to even entertain the notion of OWNING these on DVD or Blu-Ray and have this "thing" take up precious shelf space in my house... NO THANKS!!!! I mean we're talking about REAL MPI (which I own and regularly watch and rewatch) and fake MPI (which is a chore to sit through once, let alone consider rewatching). The answer is obvious, old man...

Is this Blueray or just regular DVD. There doesn't seem to be much info on it.

The link I posted was just for DVDs but I would guess the Bluerays would be out at the same time . It’s till always off so when it gets closer to them releasing them I would think more info would be available.

Since I only download less-than-legally what I want to watch (feds can't get me cause my vpn says I'm in Albania, Saudi Arabia and, occasionally, at Flemingo Key, sitting on a barstool talking like a damn fool and got the twelve o'clock news blues), I thought nothing is on regular dvd anymore. Seems one can get a bluray movie for $5 at Wally World.

btw, one can get the entire season now by torrent.

So, you're saying you've given up hope for the afternoon soaps and want a bottle of cold brew?
