There have been some very active members from the UK. 308GTS and Jay-Firestorm come to mind. However, they've been quiet for some time now.

Welcome Louise!

Hi everybody. I used to have a forum some of you may have visited called "VMO2 Da Nang - A Magnum PI Forum" .
Life got very busy for a while and I kinda got away from the site although Magnum was never too far from my thoughts...
Well I can tell that I am getting ready to go through another Magnum "phase" in my life.. lol.
I do that, I go through phases where I am heavily into something for a period of time then I back off for a while for whatever reason. It starts with watching a few shows here and there then watching one or two every day then searching the net looking for items to collect. Does anyone else do this?
Anyway, its great to be back amongst friends.
Aloha
Mike

Welcome M_Davis
I remember the VM02 website. Used to visit frequently. I do the same thing for MPI episodes. I'll not watch for weeks/months, then I'll get a hankering to watch a particular episode. That opens the door, and I find myself watching regularly through the whole series. Twice now, I've watched the series through from the first episode to the last in order, but most often I get interested in a particular season, and will watch several episodes from that season, then skip around. No mater how you do it, it is the best thing you will ever see on television. Even those episodes which aren't as good, are better than anything in TV now.
Regards,
Mike (N1095A)

Mike,
I agree 100%. It is really timeless and has been my favorite show by far since first coming out. This may sound funny but when I was a kid I wanted to be just like T.M. I never had a positive male figure in my life at that time so he kinda fit. Anyway the show influenced my life in many ways over the years and led me to certain life choices that I probably wouldn't have picked from the career I chose in the military to my civilian job. He's kinda like an old friend...
Aloha
Mike

Hello everybody! I had to reactivate my account after it been dormant for so long. Lots of stuff going on in my life but I feel it's time to get reconnected with the MPI family. I also dug up all my Magnum vhs tapes when I moved recently. I must figure out how to convert them over!

I love all the latest topics and threads in the forum! Great fun catching up.
Icepick - Does it ever occur to you that you are always having to bail your friend Magnum out of trouble?
