Whoa, $35K! That's a pretty steep asking price!

I wonder if wooden match heads used as black powder could really fire that thing. ;)

I finally saw the episode (online). Pretty cool! The cannon looked and sounded great when fired!

Absolutely love this little tidbit that they popped up:

:)

Corey and Chumlee had never heard of Magnum P.I. before? I don't know... it kind of seemed like Corey was acting when he said that. Most of the show is scripted.

Anyway, fun episode! I think Rob was right to hold on to it!

I don't believe there is one person in the western hemisphere who doesn't know Magnum P.I.....

I caught that too. New respect for Chumlee for keeping the Burt Reynolds gag alive!!!!

I noticed there was no perimeter paint detail on the cannon base like there was during MPI. I wonder why it was taken off, as it looked quite good, rather plain now. Thanks for posting the Pawn Star episode for us James!!!!

Scripted or not I like to see the "cool" items they have.
Plus you learn some history on the show.
And Chum always cracks me up.

I enjoy the show somewhat, I don't like that they are always trying to take advantage of people who bring stuff in. It gives me the impression that they are greedy as hell.
Sneakers Higgins!!

even that process is scripted and not fresh. When you see the outside camera showing the customer coming down the street and in.....that tells you it is not spontaneous. The negotiations are horribly fake and you never see a true reaction from customer. It's not a bad show, but I can't get past the staged feel anymore.

I agree, I liked it at first but "the scripted" aspect started wearing on me as well. I also keep thinking to myself why the customers with the more exotic, rare and collectable items don't sell them on E-Bay.............

yup...and the fact that Rick knows every little detail off the top of his head as they would like you to believe. I always liked the artifacts and history behind them, but the production of the show just became too much to ignore. The cast has become cliche to themselves....

I wouldn't be surprised if Chumley is an actor, a really good actor. ;)
