I dont know why but I've never liked Family Guy and the Simpsons as much as comedies like 30 ROCK or Arrested Development. But I still enjoy the referencial humor in them (except the Family guy MPI references; didn't find them really funny)

for me MPI is my favorite, but I also like Simon & Simon, all Star Trek, and I sometimes enjoy Space Ghost Coast to Coast (Depends on how late it is and how much soda I've had!)

OK but unfortunately, my ex reminded me at the time of one of Marge Simpsons sisters..the one who constantly had a cigarette grafted to he w the big hair

I dont know if I wanna go down that memory lane...

MacGyver was cheesy, but cool in many ways. Plus, a lot of it was filmed in my city. Also, I was an extra on one of the 6th season episodes back in 1991. It does have some nostalgic value to me. Heck, some episodes were done just blocks from my house!

By the way, you guys aren't gonna believe this, but they're making a movie of the guy who spoofs MacGyver on Saturday Night Live. It's called McGruber....

About 10 years ago my now nearly 20 year old son decided "to be MacGyver" so he refused to have a haircut for almost a year and always carried chewinggum, some kind of tape, a ballpen and some cord with him :D

I have four all-time favourites.

Magnum P.I (Unbeatable, untouchable!)

the Equalizer (It was truly great, best NY based show ever.)

Miami Vice (First season is still one of the best seasons of any show hands down. The style and music, it was fantastic. But this show really slowed down and got silly, and almost became like a parody of itself the last two seasons. It´s a shame.)

Columbo (Great entertainment. It´s got to be top notch when it´s still intriguing despite you know who is the murderer from the beginning.)

To me series like Knight rider, A-team, Hunter and MacGyver were light as popcorn. If you had seen five episodes you had seen them all. Just my small humble opinion

With a handle like you have Starsky & Hutch HAD to be your number 1 "other" show!
