SL, I bet it is the same way one of my daughters had her picture taken with TS in the late 80's. A lifesize cardboard picture of TS, that a person, usually a female, could pose with.

Am I right?

MPS, that was my guess too.

I wonder if that qualifies as "Photoshopping" for the 1980s????

There have been ways to have trompe l'oeil pictures for years, of course. Remember someone's standing behind a painted piece of plywood with a cut-out for one's head -- so one could look like whatever the painted body was -- farmer, fireman, etc.

Then the tourist photography shops of the 1960s and '70s where you dressed up in Western costume or whatever and had a sepia-toned picture taken? Okay, hokey, sure, but I had one of those!! It WAS fun! (wonder where the heck that thing is now . . . . Anyone else have one? Post that picture if you can find it!)

Finally I got it to work. Had to put them on photobucket and I couldn't do this with my Mac so I"m using my PC at work.

They're kinda small but hope you can all see them ok. Both are from late 2006, first was a world cup party, 2nd was a Halloween party with me holidng up Season 1 after it came out on DVD.

Ahhhh...nothing like a beautiful sunset on Waikiki. This place is truly paradise! Every evening I was there I took a pic of the sunset. Each one was more beautiful than the evening before! I think this is the best one! (Dang! I take good pictures...if I say so myself!) Sorry it's so huge...Photobucket wouldn't let me resize it for some odd reason)

Aaaahhh...is right, SL.....What a great picture of a sunset in paradise. As TM always says, it's a state of mind but I will never forget our trip a couple of years ago. We were in the rainbow tower of the Hilton Hawaiian Village and would sit on our Lanai watching the gorgeous sunsets plus, we had the added bonus of being there when it was a full moon cycle, so we could watch the moon rise up right over Diamondhead, some nights with a dramatic bursting thru the clouds and coming up over the peak at just the right moment.......I have got to get back there!

Exquisite pictures, golf! I envy you. The last time I was in Hawaii it was 1988...prolly won't get a chance to go again. I need to stay out of the hospital! :)
