Apparently before he was famous, TS was a contestant on the Dating Game twice and lost twice. Anybody know this? I sure didn't. It was an answer on a multiple choice "game show" questionnaire that I did at work today. Who would have thought he would have dating issues when he became a PI.
TS was a contestant when he was in college. He has always admitted to having dating "issues" when he was in college because of his shyness with females! (I know! Hard to believe isn't it?) As for your last sentence:
Who would have thought he would have dating issues when he became a PI.
What does that mean? (Just wondering!) :D

Golf, you can purchase that one on dvd. I was thinking about getting it for my grandson. I bought him Tom's ferrari the other day, only cost me a dollar. Ofcourse it was just a picture of it on a folder. He spotted it and had to have Tom's car. He thinks Tom still drives his car around hawaii.

Macattack,
Good idea, having her to keep a look out, one day she might really see him drive by and all that hard work will have paid off.
I'm glad my grandson isn't the only child who knows who Tom is.
Sometimes he will talk about TS to other kids and they give him strange looks. He has announced many times to stranges that his Nina's favorite man is Tom Selleck.

For a long time, any man with a mustache was TS and he would announce it to everyone.

Kids are great and can make any day brighter!
Right now mine is play his guitar and singing a blues song to me.
:D

Thats awesome. We got to raise our kids right. I also have shown my daughter Jasmine positive things like reggae music and appreciating nature.
She sees a parallel between Magnum/Lily and us.
I dont see anything wrong with her watching MPI with me. Its sure alot better than all the violence and sex on Tv these days!
I just don't give a damn!

My youngest step daughter has the Island Hoppers T Shirt and a web belt. She really wants a set of TC's suspenders.

I took my 11 year old son to his very first concert a couple of weeks ago (outside of The Wiggles about 7 years ago-what a nightmare).......And it was....Jimmy Buffet of course. You are all right, we have to steer them in the right direction, now if someone would just come up with a Magnum, pi Video Game, it would make my mission a lot easier........

Steve,

Are you forgetting the cell phone game?

MPI Cell Phone Game

I can play it on my computer, but apparently my phone isn't Java-enabled.

Agatha,

You don't have to have a cell phone to play it. You can play it on your computer where you have little "windows" that look like a cell phone. I can't remember now how I converted it to be playable on my computer, because this was talked about on these forums probably more than a year ago. But PM me, and I'll try to get the components to you so you can play it on your computer.

Hey Golf, your site gives a review of the game, but where can you download it?

Styles,

Try here

To download the game for your computer, you have to register (it says), but registration is free. There's also a download to a phone and maybe only a Nokia phone. I just downloaded it to my computer when I got it. Then I think you have to get an Sjboy Emulator, which is also free to download from someone's link on this forum. Then you need to open the .jar files from the game WITH the Emulator program (e.g., do the right click thing of Open . . With and pick the Emulator). I think there are four different .jar files but only one of them worked right on my computer (the others were sideways on the screen).

I think I got up to the 12th or 13th level -- if I recall, it goes to 18, maybe? Let us know about your efforts!
