3D Model of T.C.'s Chopper

#1 Post by J.J. Walters »

Check it out, someone created a 3D model of T.C.'s chopper with Google SketchUp:

Very nicely done!

Yes, very nicely done.

But what do you DO with it?

I'm not familiar with Google Sketch Up. What's the purpose of this design?

I love sketchup.

I use it for work and personal projects. It is great for conceptual work and visualization.

Nice job James. Maybe this could be a screen saver?

It a freeware 3D modeling program. You can create basically anything you want with it. One of the cool things you can do with Google SketchUp models is export them to Google Earth, or vice versa! For example, someone could create the main house of Robin's Nest in 3D and then export it into rubber chicken's out-of-this-world "Magnum P.I. Filming Locations" .kmz file. ;)
