Thanks, a nice read!

They even refer to magnum-mania.com...
I know what you're thinking. And you're right.

Vielen Dank Tobi! :D
Higgins: Magnum, you are clad only in your undershorts.
Magnum: Of course I am.
Higgins: Even for you I find that just a trifle casual.

Hi guys,

I understand there is a " KING KAMEHAMEHA BEACH CLUB BAR * in Frankfurt. Has anyone been to visit ?

Is Magnum PI the inspiration ?

By the way thanks Tobi for posting that article. Fortunately I was able to avail of a translation.

Hello there,

Thank you very much, Tobi, for posting this in here, it was very interesting. I had to laugh at the Magnum/Derrick comparison. If you know Derrick, you understand why. :D
(For those who don't, the series was aired from 1974 to 1998 and dealt with an elderly Chief Inspector called Stephan Derrick working at homicide department of the Munich police and his younger assistant, Inspector Harry Klein. The series was internationally very successful, but for some reason no one knows it never ran in the USA.)

By the way, @terryfromkerry, there has been a club-disco called King Kamehameha Club in Frankfurt, and it indeed was named after the club in MPI. I unfortunately have not been there and won't be able to, since it has been closed two years ago.

Greetings,
Tesza
