Waimanalo trip Thurday! Elks Club Bar?

#1 Post by Seattle Magnum »

Hey folks, new to forum , but have cruised the sight for a few years. We stay at a nice cottage in Waimanalo after staying at a buddy's place up the road from Robin's Nest. Any Magnum sights you recommend? We have loved the Waimanalo Beach for years, and are gonna finally walk the beach at low tide to see the Magnum beach and peek thru to see Robin's Nest. Any great must see sights? Anyone ever go to the Elks Club Bar? Cheers.

Welcome SM! :D

Can't give you any insight into where to visit, but you've got one of the BEST advisors on the board in KENJI.

Take lots of pictures!

We like pictures, and appreciate those who can take them, then take the time and effort to share them.

Somebody's got to have a long range lens on their camera.......up there where KENJI took shots of the estate, that's where they need to go with that long range lens....we need to see just what state of repair/disrepair the place is actually in! :higgins:

Seriously, have a great trip, pack as much MPI spots in as you can, but don't forget to just enjoy yourself....it IS still "paradise"....with or without Magnum. :magnum:

Did I mention that we'd sure appreciate seeing the pictures you take while you are enjoying it all.....
"C'mon TC...nothing can go wrong!"

Besides the Anderson Estate (Robin's nest) you MUST visit Waialae Beach Park

You see the beach where Magnum is often seen jogging, the open beach bar, the KKC setting in that little hut and the Kahala beach with the little palm island that is seen so often during the show.

Personally I can recommend visiting Agatha's home - one of the nicest living areas that I've seen.

Thanks for the tips, we have lounged on the beach at Waimanalo down the way from Robin's Nest for many years, we are finally gonna go to the estate at low tide and wade around in the turtle pool.
