And yes they're showing reruns of THE A-TEAM here too at 6pm every evening (on Me-TV) but I never have the time to watch it. Surprisingly as much as I love this show I only own season 2 on DVD. Must fix that some day. But for now I need to focus on working my way through MPI.
Yep. Me-TV.
Don't really watch it watch it. It's just kinda on and I listen.
I like looking for old actors and actresses too.
Standard conversation though.
Wifey: You know who that is right?
Me: No clue.
Wifey: Janine Turner
Me: WHAT???
I'm pretty dense if I don't concentrate on something. SEE: My posts on Magnum Mania!
Knocking my rubber chicken or my sloppy habits is within the rules, but you're attacking my character. I would like to think you don't mean that.
Was definitely for teenaged boys and remains for teenaged boys.
Still fun but certainly no masterpiece of TV history.

I've found that watching it with my kids helps raise the bar a little when watching these days. BA and Murdock have some superb slapstick chemistry that still holds up.
I've not seen Knight Rider since its original run, but I do think I should check a few out.
"How fiendishly deceptive of you Magnum. I could have sworn I was hearing the emasculation of a large rodent."

Yep, that's a young Janine Turner and she guested on both shows! On KNIGHT RIDER she was in the 4th season's "KITTnap" and on THE A-TEAM she was in the 3rd season's "The Big Squeeze" which is one of my very favorites! Wings Hauser and Joseph Sirola really steal the show in that one as the 2 baddies - Sirola is the big boss and Wings as his short-tempered enforcer. Hannibal (with his Irish proverbs ) really gets under Hauser's skin!! Love it!

Yep those 2 are the highlights in every single episode. It's like on MPI - even when the story doesn't grab you, you can still get something out of the TM and Higgins back-and-forth. Same with Murdock and B.A. Of course I love me some Hannibal and Face too. I especially love Hannibal's way of goading the baddies and getting under their skin. Classic!

I'm in, at least for sometime this weekend. Friday night we're supposed to go to a picnic, and Saturday we're supposed to go to a family birthday party, but Hurricane Ian might change those plans for me.
Thanks for the reminder and the very well put together synopsis/info sheet.
One of the "stand-out" episodes, to be sure...as even people who are not "fanatics" like me...seem to be familiar with this episode...or at least remember it.
What's the protocol: Watch just the first part and wait till next week for the second, or squelch the suspense and "let er' roll" all at one sitting? I really don't remember how it was done during original broadcast, as I probably missed it because we didn't have tv in 82'!
Got tv now...got the DVD...got popcorn..(or fig newtons & brandy! )
Good watching everybody!

Oh man, Fig Newtons! That reminds me... my wife does a weekly Walmart order on Fridays. The other day I was thinking that I needed to add Fig Newtons to it... and I'm going to do that right now!
I have brandy, but the only brandy I have is slivovitz, plum brandy from Europe. I'll probably stick with water.

The two-parter Did You See the Sun Rise? aired back-to-back on the same night September 30th, 1982.
8pm and 9pm
Watch away.
Then Maniacs can jump on here and give fresh observations.
If you don't wish to... well...
