

The bigger your screen is, the more you'll notice the improvement in resolution.
On a smaller screen, the pixels are much closer resulting in higher ppi. However, I'm surprised it looked that disappointing for Bond on a 70'' display.
I can hardly imagine it was that bad. But well, if you experienced it that way..
As I sad, it could've helped to increase sharpness in the settings. It gave me a much more detailed picture than with standard settings without creating much ugly artifacts meaning the bluray's potential isn't fully exhausted in standard settings.
That's the advantage of less conpression which also explains the 37 discs.
More bandwidth, less compression = larger files= more discs.
We always have to keep in mind that it's a TV-show shot on 35mm film 36 years ago. Film grain is a natural thing to occur.
And for that, it looks great.
