That is freakin' hilarious. Love it.

While I think the laugh James has in the audio section is cute, the one that cracks me up every time is from Distant Relative. Check out this youtube clip and skip to the 1:40 mark.

Also, (this drives my wife nuts) I have the Gunga Din story for my alarm every morning at 6:30 am. She's so tired of hearing Higgins say "Malaysia 1943..." HA! I wake up smiling every day!

I need to get the laugh and "Hi Guys" from somebody.

Oh, I also have Higgins saying "This is outrageous! Outrageous!" My kids love hearing that. And a couple versions of "Oh My God!"

I love modern technology.

I gotta figure out how to rig my alarm like that PhatCat . . . it would be great to have different Magnum Awakening each day! Or . . . would that be creepy . . .

First: Find the clips, say, on youtube.
Then: Download the sound only.
Next: use a simple tool like the freeware audacity to isolate the snippet you want.
Finally: save it to your hard drive in a format your phone can read and transfer it to the phone.

Those are all the WAV files that no longer exist. When you click on them to open them, or right click, save, etc, they don't play anything. The others on the audio page that I didn't list in this post DO work.

James might have to take a look to see if those WAV files are still there.

I'm on a Mac using Safari, and all the audio wavs are working for me. Maybe you should try a different web browser?

I'll try it on my mac when i get home.

What happens at work is when you download the particular files and then play it (I have Winamp at work) it blips and nothing plays. The other files play the :03 or :05 or however long they're supposed to. So I don't think it's a browser issue (especially since some WAV files work and others don't) but...

I'll try it later tonight at home on my mac and report later.

They work from my end via Win7/IE or Win7/Firefox or Win7/Chrome. The .wav files should launch with whatever program you have set to open .wav files (via the OS).

The other audio files (MP3's), the ones that work for you, all run through the XSPF Web Music Player (Flash-based) which is embedded in the web page. I didn't do this with the .wav files because they are all so short. It just didn't seem worth the effort.

Glad to see you guys putting some of the audio clips to go use!
