Would this be considered an Aloha Shirt?

No. It is a sport shirt emblazoned with pachyderms, decidedly not Hawaiian.

But seriously, what an odd shirt!

Yeah. It's pretty darn ugly. I'd love to buy the hot dog shirt. But I have a feeling that if I ordered it I'd open the box and say "I can't actually wear this thing!"

One of my favorite Aloha shirts worn by Magnum is the one he has in The Kona Winds:

It looks lavender(?) and has a subtle palm tree design. I believe he wears it a couple more times during the course of season six.

I've looked at the Aloha Shirt Company and the Paradise Clothing Company, but to no avail. Is this shirt still produced?

Hi Garwood~

I don't know if it's still produced, but Tori Richard Honolulu has a similar shirt. It actually looks more blue-ish if you look at JJ's screen caps from other episodes. A steal at $98  Just kidding...I know they make really nice, quality clothing. http://www.toririchard.com/browse.cfm/g ... ,1492.html

Funny, I know I'm not color blind, as I always stop at a brown traffic light.

Thanks, RG! That looks to be the shirt. I need to rebuild my Aloha shirt wardrobe and getting this one (even at that price) would be a great way to get started.
