Just re-watched the episode. You never see the guy's face. However you do see Downing surf boards in 7 scenes, and there are at least 3 different designs. A couple look like the same ones as other shots.

I was watching "Death Of The Flowers", and discovered the "Get Wet" cap TM wore in this one is gray as opposed to the black of previous episodes.
At first I thought it might be the lighting playing tricks so I got screen grabs both indoors and outdoors.
Hey Mike, you don't think it got bleached out a little in the wash do you? It looks a little fadded. I know his KKC Tank top fadded very bad and was alot lighter in color latter in the show. I just looked how crisp the lettering looked on the black one and the D wings on the sides are pink, on the gray one the look salmon, which lead me to believe it had fadded. Not sure though.

Went back and watched it and I think you're right. I personally prefer the black one.."POPS" a little more I think. Wish they'd go back and make somre retro hats with their old designs, but after 4 or 5 emails and no response...I'm thinking they ain't interested!

Lots of luck. I spoke via telephone and email with Keone Downing. He said if he decides to reissue the cap he'd let me know. This was maybe a year ago, and I didn't get the impression he was very interested in doing it.
