Carmen, isn't Higgins rehersing what he is going to say to her? I would technically say he didn't break the fourth wall on that dialouge.

Have to agree with IKWYT and Steve. Higgins was simply nervous and rehearsing what he would say. He wasn't talking to the audience directly.

Keep up the great work on Season 2, Carmen :)
Higgins: You've washed the car?! How extraordinary. Why would you do such a thing?

I agree too, and thats actually one of my favorite scenes from the show.

His interaction with TC afterwards is PRICELESS!

I think in "By It's Cover" The helicopter gets yet another bullet hole (this is shortly after TC gives TM grief about gas money bullett holes and other regularities), and TC just looks deadpan right into the camera. I watched it the other day and I was rolling-just the way he did it! :D

..have something to add: in season 2 Magnum never did it more than one time in an episode and most looks are the last frame, they missed many opportunities, during the first few epis I often waited, pencil in my hand and - nothing... there were those special situations where everyone thinks "now, now he just HAS to look and than in "From Moscow to Maui" it is just the perfect one after nothing in the first 2 episodes and just a glimpse in "The woman on the beach"

little update here

in season 6 I found only 3!!! one in Rapture (which is one of my very favorite, cause he is walking during "the look" and moving his arms like he`d say "what can I do?") and two in Mad dogs and Englishmen. Have to rewatch s6 in highspeed to be sure I haven`t missed something.

S3 - 5 will follow soon after I watched season 7 which I bought last week *G*

Season 7

L.A., One picture is worth, AAPI (II) Novel Connection (1 Higgins) Murder by night (II) Solo flight, Paper war (end credits only)

So we have 8 Magnum looks and 1 by Higgins and not to forget Magnum is talking to the audience many times in "Out of sync"
After nearly nothing in season 6 it was much better in season 7.
Start with S3 now...

Has it been determined that Rick is the only main cast character who never breached the fourth wall?

From my recollection, Rick never did.

I don't believe Higgins or TC did it past the first season.

Doc,

If you go back to Carmen's last post, she states Higgins did it in "Novel Connection" in Season 7. Read up more posts and there are ones by TC in seasons other than 1, according to Carmen.

Thanks, golf. I`m not sure, but in Novel Connection as I remember Higgins did one sitting at his desk. No, that sounds like I do not remember IF he did one, he surely did.
Do you want me to name the particular scenes for the rest of the seasons :?:
