It appears Makani Kai Helicopters might have a similar T.C. chopper and also the one used in Hawaii 5-0 by Kamekona.
Go to Youtube and type in "ON THE RADAR" with Jen Robbins: flying over Oahu in a Magnum Helicopter without doors.

Are you allowed to fly over the estate? I'd doubt you'd be able to get very close?

I'd imagine Higgins would come out with rifle and loudspeaker... 'AHOY THERE!!!'

Nice find Kenji! I guess they're not quite as good at P.R. as Paradise Helicopters. Looks like the video is recent too - Feb. 2013.

Thanks Styles and thanks for posting the pic and link.
It would be neat to see them in the air at the same time over the estate......Eve would be rubbing her eyes in disbelief.
I wonder what each company charge for such a ride.

Looks like Larry M is wearing his team ring if you look at him signing autographs. Also at 48 seconds is a good shot of the Makai Research Pier (Island Hoppers)................

Hi Steve,
He is definitely wearing the ring.....like you said....also look at 1:20 into the clip where he has his arm around the female Magnum and you can see the face of the ring. I noticed Roger is wearing a ring too, but can't tell if it is a team ring though. Nice shot of the pier....too bad they couldn't set up shop there!

Thanks for sharing the pics and information. I just got back from my Maui vacation last week. Wish I could have jumped over to Oahu to meet Larry and Roger. That would have been so cool! 8)

When I click on this, it tells me that the video is "private." Can't watch it.
