You know, you see it all the time now but back then it was such a taboo and so rare. But we all know no one did it better than TS!

So far I searched through the first 10 episodes, counted 13 by Magnum, 2 Higgins and 1 T.C.
Higgins did it in Never again..never again and The ugliest dog in Hawaii and T.C. in Missing in action

This was hard work, but somebody had to do it

In season 1 I counted 20 by Magnum, 2 Higgins and 2 T.C.
Like I said before Higgins did it in Never again...never again and the ugliest dog...
T.C. in Missing in Action and The curse of the King Kamehameha Club.

There are 2 episodes where nobody "broke the fourth wall": Don`t say goodbye and Adelaide.
Magnum never had more than 2 "looks" in 1 episode so far. puuhhh, need to rest now...

Go for it, Carmen!

I just want to know how you got all of season 1 done in 10 days???

Amazing dedication. I envision you carrying around a laptop as you do everything else in your day, taking notes as you go. :D :D
Higgins: You've washed the car?! How extraordinary. Why would you do such a thing?

Let's take a poll on how long it takes Carmen to get through eight seasons!

How I did it in 10 days?

easy, I watched most of them on"forward 1 speed", (or whatever it is called, when everybody talks like Donald Duck and moves like in an old Charly Chaplin movie) Now I learned to talk really fast, don`t need that much coffee any more to hyperact. BTW, couldn`t have been 10 days, can`t do it saturday and sunday with my family at home; they already know I am crazy

Need some opinions here, (no, I have not finished S2 yet). In "Tropical madness" Higgins is looking straight into the camera when he is waiting for Jennifer to arrive and he repeats "You look ravishing my dear, - a little champagne?" again and again, but to me it seems more like a look into a mirror than to "break the wall"
maybe anybody else here is as crazy as I am and helps me with this major problem
and Michelles last look in "Memories are forever" is a straight one too, but I think it was not meant that way. Any opinions?? Thanks ...

My opinion is that "breaking the fourth wall" would entail a character communicating directly with the viewing audience, either verbally or visually, not including Magnum's narration of course. Just my opinion, hopefully others will offer theirs.............
