Thanks Doc. Yeah, I think that's how it works. I can't believe how time flies. It seems like I just joined M-M yesterday. It has been fun and very informative. There really is a great group of people here.

Normally, yes. Unless, that is, you are a buff, and extremely tan, Doc Ibold, then you get one at 200 posts!

Not going to argue with Rubber Chicken's scenario!

But I've been thinking for the past few years (since 9/11, basically) that Magnum would be involved with the Department of Homeland Security, either as a Naval officer or (if he's retired again) as a civilian.

I suspect that Tom Selleck would like that idea. Some years back, I read a short (sentence or two) synopsis of a plot he was wanting to use for a Magnum theatrical movie, which involved some pretty heavy international goings-on, and apparently took place mostly in Europe. The Homeland Security idea would enable Magnum to make a serious contribution while still living in Hawaii.

And of course Lily is still around, along with the series regulars.
