What ethnic makeup exactly is Michelle?

So I’m rewatching Magnum and just got to the part of Memories Are Forever where Colonel Ki is talking with General Hue and accuses Michelle of being the Tiger, Hue says he hates her because she’s French and worked in a South Vietnamese hospital. So I got curious, I always thought she was Franco-Vietnamese, now I’m wondering am I wrong is she just straight up French?
