I watched that episode last night after you mentioned it. I just got season 8 for fathers day. I'd never seen that one before.

"Imagine your sitting at home in White Bear Lake, MN..." Hilarious!

I live about a 1/2 hour west of there.

I had to bring this old thread back to the front as it seems everytime I am in the Grocery Store now, Tom's OJ voice over commercial is playing. Today I was in line it and was playing on the mini TV in the checkout line (how wonderful Stores put these in place so we men don't have to just look at the rags and their endless stories about Jon & Kate any longer). Anyway, as I was watching the commercial in one of my Paradise Found Magnum shirts, I looked over at the line next to me and there was a gal with a T-Shirt that had "Higgins Lake-Lifeguard" on the front of it. Definitely brought a smile to my face!

names that remind me of the show...

I have one customer at the shop I work at named Floyd Lewellyn and I always remember his name by thinking "All Roads Lead to Floyd" also there is a guy that comes in named Frank Peters... is that Toms step father?

Ferrari 308 GTS (of course), moustaches, ballcaps, Hawaii, dobermans, Da Nang.
But here comes the odd one:
everytime I see a Charlie Chaplin movie, that reminds me of TS.
I see some resemblance between Mr. Chaplin and Mr. Selleck.
"Zeus, Apollo, get out of my Ferrari!"
"Mr. Masters' Ferrari"

I saw a photograph last night at a family party that was a mirror image of Magnum. It was my father camping in 1986. He was wearing a Hawaiian shirt and really short shorts. That was when he still had a moustache too.
I just don't give a damn!

When someone says "Oh come on!" Even when I say that, I nearly insert "Higgins" after that...
Higgins: " Dispatch the pig!!! "

Every time I see a car with an 'OTIS' sign I start grinning, Friday my husband asked me what`s so funny while we where on our way to our "Cowboy-weekend" and I told him about the scene in PaperWar when TM tells Higgins "Uncle Otis told me......" and Higgins later asks him if he really has an uncle Otis who builds elevators.
BTW, I watched 'Limited Engagements last week when my sons came in and wanted me to show them the 'Pickled egg, please' scene. 8)

My work has taken me to Reading PA every day for the past two weeks. On my route I pass a billboard that says "Lordes and Ladies" advertizing some local shopping outlet store. Lordes and Ladies was the name of the magazine Bibi Kiamani (TC's would-be love interest and suspected Mau Mau) worked for in London in "Black On White".

Walking through Waikiki you'll find a Higgins Harte International Gallery.

Felt like old Higgy baby may have retired as Majordomo and opened his own chain of fine art galleries across the islands.
