Thomas Magnum Voted "America's Top Sleuth"!

#1 Post by J.J. Walters »

.... And four months later I find out about it.

Back in late October, Thomas Magnum was voted America's Top Sleuth by the Sleuth Channel, as selected by "thousands" of voters in their on-line poll! Columbo came in at #2, Jim Rockford #3 ... Marge Gunderson (Fargo) #25.

I think that's pretty cool. I can't believe I didn't hear about this until now. And somewhat surprising results, if you ask me. I would have laid money on Columbo. And Magnum edges out Rockford. ;)

I've updated the News page (the root url) with this, uh, late breaking news. Heh.

That is amazing considering the competition...but nice all the same.

Awesome!

I'm glad Magnum is #1, but I'm surprised NCIS or Monk didn't make the list!

Maybe Sleuth needs to do America a favor and put it's top PI back on the case. I'd say start it of with a Magnum marathon the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend!

One of my DVDs has a special feature about this and I thought it was an old things...the shows that they talked about were mostly from that time period. Hmmmm. I'd better go watch that again.

Thanks, James!!
