Who Do You Wish Was a Guest Star on MPI?

#1 Post by Jaybird »

MPI had alot of great stars make appearances but there were many who missed out. I will nominate two, a male and female, who could have had memorable roles.........Robert Duvall and Farrah Fawcett. Both would have been great! Farrah could have done a number or roles, Sharon Stone's, Erin Grey's or Dana Delaney's. Duvall......well, consider the possibilities!

Mark Hamill. He could have played Rick's relative or something. :D

And Sir Alec Guinness could have been some distant associate of Higgins!

I would liked to have seen James Garner appear on the show.

Female wise, the ultimate 80's chick, Kathleen Turner...

James Garner for sure but also Bruce Willis, Sean Connery, and if anything could happen ... John Wayne !
Who's Dot Matrix, and what has she got to do with this?

Jack Lord would have been an awesome guest. Imagine Magnum and McGarret going head to head over a crime. What a turf war!

Charlton Heston would have been great! He was the president of the NRA, and Selleck took his place when Heston stepped down.
Plus they are both great actors.

Sean Connery should have been Robin Masters instead of Orson Welles!
I mean he's similiar in his choice of residences. Connery - castle in Scotland, private island in the Caribbean.
Robin Masters- castle in Switzerland, castle in Leeds, England, Robin's Nest in Hawai'i!
I just don't give a damn!

I like Steve McGarrett going head to head with TM. I like the voice of Sean Connery as Robin Masters. Think of this! Had the writers chosen the guest stars better maybe they would not have had the letdown during seasons 5-6 that some of us experience. Heck! A two-parter with Jack Lord vs. Magnum.....that would be a top 10!

Burt Reynolds and Farrah Fawcett (R.I.P.) in the same episode, reprising their "Cannonball" roles.

Too bad that the topic "Stuff that reminds you of Magnum" isn't on the screen anymore. I have an interesting subject.

I just moved to a new neighborhood, and I found out my neighbor's name is Buck Green! Weird thing is, he fought in Vietnam! He's a lot nicer than Magnum's nemesis, though!

Chicago city. Thats right. MPI was filmed in other locations like LA, Virginia, Bangkok, London. But they never did an episode in Chicago.
Rick could've taken Magnum on a tour through his old neighborhood.
I just don't give a damn!
