Gotta agree with Carmen on "two birds of a feather". It starts off great but after TM disappears that's it for me.

Well, watched this one again last night and it's a so so ep. Perhaps the only redeeming feature of this one is the lovely Katherine Cannon. Higgins was pretty funny too especially after TC hoists him out onto the balcony.

You young whippersnappers have no idea how good you've got it what with DVD's, HD, NetFlix etc etc. Way back in the heyday of the show you had to wait until the show was aired to tape it and sit there and hit pause to edit out...

After reading through various threads about flubs and videotaped episodes from the 80's I just got nostalgic. So, can you remember what episode or from which season you first videotaped MPI? For me, it was Italian Ice, taped around April or May (Spring anyhow) of 1982. It was taped using a JVC HR770...

I actually like The Love For Boat Sale, mainly because of the excellent Jeff Mckay. To me he was great as Mac or Jim Bonnick or whoever. A funny, warm and talented guy.

Just watched this episode again as part of my random watchathon and it is a great episode. The comic banter between TC and Rick at the beach club was superb, easily one of the best laughing scenes in the entire series.

Interesting to see how Mac is far away in the lead. He was a really enjoyable character and I loved his sense of humour, especially when he became the con artist we know as Jim Bonnick. It's also interesting to note just how much Magnum always thought about Mac, he obviously cared very much for him ...
