Re: How effective were The Lads?
Wrestlers wear singlets at wrestling competitions. That's the only place I've ever seen them worn.

Here's Roger on Sanford & Son in 1972: http://img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20130520161641/sanfordandson/images/thumb/4/43/Fred_Norman_and_the_Watchbaar.png/500px-Fred_Norman_and_the_Watchbaar.png I found some info on a S&S wiki: Norman Blood was a new hire in the junkyard by Fred when he and Lamont h...

Re: Selleck
I agree completely. I watch very little current TV. Most of what I watch are reruns of classic shows. I feel the same way about movies. I can't believe how many "adults" are captivated by movies about giant robots, monsters, or superheroes. I wouldn't sit through the any of that crap for love or mon...

For me, a woman "team member" would have ruined the show.

Re: Cozi TV screws up again
I agree it's not a difficult process to put shows in order but when you pay nothing to get that channel it doesn't seem like a legitimate outlet for outrage.

Upon further reflection, I hate this episode. It is the only one I won't watch again. 1 1/3 viewings was enough.

I was glad that the Magnum episode didn't tell the rest of the story. I couldn't have cared less about Pamela's fate.

Re: Novel Connection (7.9)
The screeching harpy that played Pamela Bates is not only the most annoying character ever, she is also one of the ugliest. Her face looked like it was melting. She had these big jowls and wore more makeup than a corpse at a wake. What a horrible looking, horrible sounding woman. Magnum should have ...

If you have Comcast, all 162 episodes are available, free On-Demand. (at least in my market) It's a nice feature isn't it, and they run the DVD/Encore versions that are uncut for commercials........... It is indeed. I've found it a very convenient way to watch the random episodes I've managed to mi...
