I'm split about this one. I think the bit about Magnum fighting his demons is quite poignant, but on the other hand, the whole fake Mac malarky is just farcical. You can see they were desperately trying to shoehorn Jeff McKay back into the show. Not even the actors seem convinced about their lines.

So far in the series it seems to tie for worst episode with basketball willie. That's a serious accusation! This really is an oddball episode. Another vote here for the Jag. It really is the quintessential Higginsmobile - it fits him like a glove.
