Nice site! I noticed in the location guide the Malibu Creek State Park is listed. They also filmed an episode at the Malibu Lagoon State Park on Pacific Coast Highway. Specifically it was at the historic Adamson House located on the property. Unfortunately, I don't remember the episode, but I recogn...

I think that guy actually died a couple of years ago. Seriously, I read his obituary and he had a virtual monopoly on the movie trailer voice-over business. He could change his style like flipping a switch if the movie was an action-adventure, romance, horror, etc... He made big bucks and was driven...

While I am sure many are not comfortable with the idea of displaying the blood-stained clothing, it is not an unusual or disrespectful thing, I believe. In fact, the clothing and bed linens of president Lincoln's assassination are on display at the home where he died across the street from Ford's Th...

"He used the phone, he used Robin Master's personal phone number", then Magnum laughs and Higgins reacts as the Ferrrari starts.

Boy have I seen this opening scene too much!

I just noticed the actor who plays the vicar at the funeral scene in the beginning, Bruce Atkinson, is the same as that listed as playing Robin Masters in J Digger Doyle . Not the voice provided by Orson Welles, but the body getting in and out of TC's helicopter. This means we have actually seen Rob...

Hey Sam, I get your humor :) but I still stand by the idea that it makes no sense to build a wall all at once out of two different materials and different techniques. I believe this wall was added on to. I also am intrigued by the coment Rick Romer made on his blog that he was told that Eve Anderson...

Or from the late 20's or early 30's, pre-estate!

My thoughts are the bottom 3rd of the wall is wider to act as a base for stability..Just a guess. Hey Sam, I don't know the answer, but it is definitely different. I just question why one would build a lower section of a wall of a different material and technique all at the same time. :? It seems t...

Thanks for the pictures Olivier! Your right, the structure in Foiled Again appears closer to the estate wall than it really is. It also appears to have glass windows and doors enclosing it which aren't in the fourth picture. Maybe they're removable for inclement weather? This threw me off, as I pict...

Did anyone notice at the 8:30 mark you can see the neighboring property from the guest house lanai. This was almost always hidden in other episodes by hanging blinds, but there seems to be a structure far in the distance. I was a little confused by this because in the very next season's Foiled Again...

I guess no one wants to play so I'll give the answer:

Don Luis Higgins

Not really his name, I know it's Mongueo, hence the "sort of".

Interesting Tidbit

I found an interesting tidbit of information in an LA Times obituary on Tuesday. Apparently Philip "Flippy" Hoffman, big-wave surfer and fabric store owner, created the design for one of Magnum's aloha shirts. To quote the article: "In the 1980s, one of the Hoffman tropical screen-print designs was ...

That was the funniest episode I can recall.

I also remember the baseball episode with Les Nessman hearing the violin lessons (not little league) of his youth when he was at bat in a critical situation.

Fantastic show.
