There a lot of things that remind of Magnum. Like I saw a red Ferrari 308 parked at my work last week. Somebody else had parked a red Maserati right next to it. Everytime I watch "Folks!" I see a ton of reminders. Every car that Tom drives in the movie is red. The scene at the trailer park in Florid...

I dont have anything against Matthew McConaughey, but he could never fill Tom Selleck's shoes. Plus his only good role was in "Dazed and Confused". I was surprised to see Tom, Larry and Roger's appearance on stage. I figured it would be like a reunion, with them joking around and stuff. But I suppos...

Great episode. But it needs a theme song. Maybe "Land of Confusion" by Genesis. That would totally rock!

I have to agree with everybody's opinion on the finale. They should have followed up with a TV movie 2 years later. The reunion scene with Lily was excellent though. This was still a better ending than Magnum dying, though. What everybody seems to forget, is that Tom Selleck co-wrote the script for ...

I was watching this episode again, and I cant stop thinking about Magnum blackmailing T.C. until flying him to the other side of the island.

I believe that Tom Selleck is like a bottle of well-aged Scotch. Even though I'm an avid MPI fan, I also respect the Jesse Stone series for its superb writing and its star, Tom Selleck. "Thin Ice" was an interesting episode and I enjoyed the shootout as an intro, but the ending was incredibly weak. ...

I still think this episode was hardcore. Only Magnum could get away with what he did. He supposedly was a navy seal in nam and he worked in N.I.A. before becoming a private investigator. I have no doubt he could sneak into any military compound if he wanted to. I'm also confident he could execute an...

I'm sure Magnum wasn't thinking about the consequences of sneeking into the military compound. He was bent on revenge because he thought Lily had been murdered. He had nothing to lose at that point. Had that been my daughter, I would do the same thing. I was really impressed how Magnum had a change ...

If Cheech & Chong can reunite, why can't Tom Selleck and Donald Bellisario reunite with the original cast of MPI to make an excellent new film? I've been waiting twenty years to see what happened to the original gang and how they're living now. Blast Brian Glazer and all of Hollywood for trying scre...

does anybody know the name of the instrumental song playing during the end credits of this episode? Maybe its an Mike Post original.

All I know is the rhythm section is the closet thing to hip hop in the Magnaverse! 8)

This episode makes me wonder how it would play out if it was filmed in 2008, instead of 1983. T.C. would probably have to fight his way through a tournament similiar to the UFC!!!! He's a bad ass dude, but he would need to learn karate or kickboxing to stay up.
