I always wondered what happened to Magnum and the gang. In my imaginative thinking I came up with an idea how they're doing now. Thomas Sullivan Magnum stayed in Hawai'i because he was stationed at Pearl Harbor and he raised Lily. Not sure if he ever married, but I do know that he really did move of...

My grandfather fought in WWII and hated asians his whole life. Odd thing was, his business partner in real estate was Japanese! I think Higgins liked Audis. Notice he never drove a Volkswagen, though! The Volkswagen was a TRUE Nazi car. Hitler actually had them manufactured as a reward of the German...

Ever time I knock back a beer, I think of Magnum ordering a Coops at the King Kamehameha Club and putting it on Robin Master's tab! 8)

Yeah, I found Luther to be annoying as well, but I guess he's ok. He did have some interesting one-liners with that Korean cop with a John Wayne complex in the episode "A.A.P.I."

The Cheech & Chong movie "Nice Dreams" has a really good sub-plot parody of MPI. There's a detective named Noodles who looks like, dresses like and acts like Magnum. And he's played by Tim Rossovich, and old college roomate of Tom Selleck, and he also starred in the bar scene of 'Resolutions'. 8) :D

In retrospect, my opinion of Luther Gillis might be a little harsh. He's no worse than Lance White (Tom Selleck's character on Rockford Files.) I just feel that Luther Gillis needed his own show. His character seemed forced and crammed into the Magnaverse. Higgins already provided enough comic relie...

All I know is that Magnum isn't above having a few beers (Coops or Old Dusseldorf)! To each his/her own.
Also, Never judge a book BY IT's COVER! 8)

Seems to me that the writers were asleep when they wrote this episode. And sleep is what I did when I tried watching it!

I want to apologize for offending anybody, I guess I got way off track. But, I'm not a troll! Just an avid MPI and Tom Selleck fan.

By the way, Luther Gillis was one of my least favorite characters on MPI. I never understood why he was on the show. Maybe to give a job to an out of work actor!

It's just a plant, man. Who cares if some people partake of it and enjoy it? It's no worse than a person drinking a bottle of whiskey and crashing his car! That's the problem, people are always going to fight over something, and that's why there will always be war.

That statement is pretty generalized. My father was a hippie, but he got drafted and went over to nam and fought for his country. He lost five friends in the war. Not everybody ran off to Canada. The only thing wrong with the potheads and the hippies was the fact that they spit on the veterans when ...
