Hi Guys, I have just sent the request to Revell 's HeadQuarters in Germany. I guess I shall know more within a few days, and will pass you the info. 'Till then...Aloha Vanity, you mean you've asked Revell whether they'll make more of them? On a tangent, something that surprised me in reading up on ...

Revell TC's Hughes 500D
Does anyone have a spare (and is willing to sell) boxed Revell model of TC's Hughes 500D?
I see them on eBay from time to time but keep missing out!

You can pick up a GMT Master (a second hand Rolex not the current Master II) for around AU$3,999 here in Australia which currently converts to about US$3310 . Not so bad for a Rolex really and considering Magnum's watch is not a Master II, if you're after the Magnum watch, then you've got to go seco...

I just watched this episode... I loved the first half, but as Shermy said- events don't unfold until ten minutes before the end- which leaves you little time to get over the initial disbelief that such a 'rebellion' shall we say, could ever take place in Hawaii. Definately could have been made much ...

I agree with you there... certainly not one of my favorites. On first watching, I was also somewhat confused as to what exactly was going on- the plot takes some time to come to the surface without enough to engage us while waiting. You can see why Selleck ended up in so many Westerns however- he ap...

Vanity, I'm pretty sure it's just stock footage that they would have used for the 'Marseilles' establishing shots. When the action starts, it's a dock in Hawaii (that I think had been used in other episodes). I think at the time, in the 1980s TV shows weren't under the scrutiny of fans like they are...

The Magnum Watch
Here is a great page with watches worn by many famous actors in TV and Film roles. Good ol' Magnum is there, wearing his Rolex GMT Master (that he inherited from his father?) and a Chronosport Quartz. Mmmmm. Both expensive. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v158/jenloe_watches/z-various/watches_in_...

Thanks, James! Coops beer, eh? Along with Old Dusseldorf, it doesn't seem to exist? :( I think you may be onto something with the Coors label, although the Coops label isn't in italics, the bottle shape looks the same. Maybe they had an 80s Coors beer that looked like this. Here's a bizarre Coors ad...

Magnum's Beer of Choice?
What is the beer with the gold label that Magnum and his buddies are always drinking?
I seem to be able to make out Coo- but can't read the rest. In Australia, we have Cooper's Beer... but I would think it is highly unlikely he'd be drinking this...
Anyone know?
