Hey, James, if you're going to quote me in the episode notes, then I figure I'd better be more specific! I went back and took notes this time. The first time Magnum, et al., are at the hospital, here's everything that comes over the P.A.: "Janet Clark, please report to Maternity. Janet Clark." [3 ti...

This may not be exactly a flub, but it sure is weird: Every time that Magnum, et al. are at the hospital, the same three people are paged over the PA, each time in exactly the same way. This is true even when Magnum goes back late at night to break into Kessler's office. Sorry I didn't make a note o...

Comment on Note 7: Rick was actually slipped a diuretic (which had the effect of dangerously lowering the amount of potassium in his blood), rather than a "potassium-based drug". I have a number of quibbles with that aspect of the plot. True, diuretics can wreak havoc with one's electrolyte levels. ...

And that woman ... the "health nut" literary agent, "Sarah". All I can say is, I'm glad Magnum never mentions her again. She leaves a tape recording that instructs him to blend flat beer, tomato juice and three raw eggs?! Run, Magnum, run! ;) I think we missed part of the recipe, seeing as how the ...

The first "flub" isn't quite accurate as listed. As IslandHopper pointed out above, T.C. was caught (and charged with) smuggling a *person* into the islands, not drugs. Magnum, Rick, & T.C. found dope in Joey's room later on, but apparently didn't tell the authorities about it -- flushed it, maybe? ...

Which reminds me, the ensign apparently chose his new surname, Caine, in reference to the Biblical story wherein Cain was exiled after killing Abel. Oddly enough, the same analogy applies to Kwai Chang Caine of "Kung Fu" (who fled to America after killing the prince who was responsible for the death...
