Sorry to break it to you this way TSMIV, but I think you might be the only one. =) Although, I don't necessarily dislike the first one, it sounds to me like your generic "Muzak" type theme songs that were used at the time, and in my opinion, pales in comparison to Mike Post's!

I agree with you golfmobile. I would pick Rick also for the same reasons. He was the one, during their time in Viet Nam, that was the side gunner in the helicopter that TC flew over the treetops. Always "looking out" for the aircraft and covering people on the ground when landing. He also seemed to ...

Thanks for the heads up grapeshot! I so don't have all of the new electronic gadgets that most people have, so I have to rely on the TV Guide that comes with my local paper, that only prints abbreviations of shows, and no info about the content. I guess I shall have to join everyone else in the 21st...

Gumbus Red???

To answer your question golfmobile regarding what's on the flip side of the record.....if you look at the listing there is a picture of the back of the sleeve. If I am not mistaken I believe it states that the "B" side of the record is: Gumbus Red, whatever that is! (???)

Well, golfmobile, I don't think it's possible to spend too much money on Magnum stuff. On eBay, most are priced rather reasonably if you ask me. As compared to say.......sports memorabilia. Or Air Jordan Sneakers. I recently sold a pair of Air Jordans for over $600! Yikes! Who knew? Certainly...

Wow, how right you are golfmobile....never thought of it that way. Perhaps this one could be bought and saved in it's collectible state, and when another one comes up for auction (as they occasionally do) buy that one and build it! Just a thought!

It was totally my pleasure to share this with everyone. It is sooooo nice to be in the company of people that appreciate it as much as I do! When I start "talking Magnum" amongst my friends who don't share my enthusiasm for Mr. Selleck and the series, their eyes glaze over and I know they're thinkin...

I must say I really liked the story too. Some of the exchanges between Magnum and Higgins in the script are quite humorous. I must admit some of the football lingo used was beyond me, so I must give my husband credit for telling me what it meant in "layman's" terms, so I could integrate it into the ...

Well, Magnum fans, hang on to your red parrot shirt, and rev up your Ferrari! Here's my synopsis of the "lost episode" of Magnum. It is dated September 21, 1984 and is Production #58708. It contains 58 pages, so I'll try to keep this as short as possible! And if anything doesn't make sense, please f...

I have been to Hawaii only once in 1988. I still remember it vivdly, because I have wanted to keep the experience alive in my mind. It is truly "Paradise"! I visited Oahu and stayed on the side of the island opposite of Honolulu. (Kaneohe) The beaches in the vicinity I stayed were virtually deserted...

The scene where Magnum is standing in front of the main house in his undershorts, holding his jeans up in front of him, is a real knuckle biter! (sigh) Am I being shallow again?
