Re: Mad Buck Gibson (2.9)
Hi, everyone, I was questioning about a memory TM related at 24:37 in this episode. The recollection was from his young time when he was a University Football Quarterback. I guess he was probably at least 17 or 18 years old aged. TM expressed his disappointed hopes when he missed the chance to make ...

Re: Which episode is this from and is T.C. drinking beer?
In the early episodes TC was kind of a "normal" guy, who drank beer and was a womanizer/cat caller. They refined his role into what it became: The gentleman, who doesn't drink and is chivalrous to the ladies. Definitely! He was commenting on women’s “bazooms” in the helicopter flight in the pilot, ...

Re: Wave Goodbye (2.8)
The twist revealed during the ultimate scene is quite good and i liked Nick Character. In my opinion, it was played quite well and the scene at the beach clearing, with this Vet living withdrawn of the world as an hermit, was my favorite for that episode. I think this opus is somewhat underrated he...

My two cents about TM forced kiss: If it was not to justify (in the script) Higgin's punch, it may well be that the aim was to provoke that (creepy, you're right :? ) woman. If she reacted positively to his kiss, then that would have meaned she was really (coldly) calculating her behave towards Higg...

Re: Which episode is this from and is T.C. drinking beer?
You Right, it seems fairly different. I've already seen this later office in others episode before 3.5. It strengthen the guess that, for the pilot, they just fimed it in studios. Later, for the next seasons, they "settled" it. But as you said, it could be shot anywhere with no certainty concerning ...

Re: The Chinese Typewriter
I seem to recall there’s a beach scene in an early season one episode that they say was actually cribbed from “The Chinese Typewriter.” So there must be at least one Hawaii scene in the movie. As I recall, it’s a girl in a bikini using a beach shower, and it’s either in “China Doll” or the one abou...

Mon dieu ! That is a real heartbreaker... :x Now we could really say our old dream is down ! (except for a little part of it - the boathouse... :magnum: ). That is a particular cynical end for ol' Pahonu... however, i didn't expect anything else from a land owners who (noticeably and usually) tend t...

Hi 80s Big Hair ! I've got another question for you. I am wondering if Is this take was shot at T.C. Island Hooper's office (Maka Pu-u Pier) https://www.tripadvisor.fr/Attraction_Review-g60662-d12822070-Reviews-Makai_Research_Pier-Waimanalo_Oahu_Hawaii.html#photos;aggregationId=&albumid=&filter=7&ff...

Re: Dead Man's Channel (2.2)
Very refreshing episode with a nice looking Wendy Girard (a really nice smile). Yes the plot is quite light, yes the finale is mundane. However the diving scenes are well filmed for a weekly TV show. EnShealy, i went to the same conclusion than you, concerning the diving filming location. The map TM...

Re: From Moscow to Maui (2.4)
An overall good episode but not much. I could remembered it well, because of the F4's during the prologue. Concerning that point: -Yes there were two type of F'4 shown: F-4C (probably from the ANG or USAF reserve squadrons ?) and F-4 J from the Marines. Definitively not the same. - Any the russian f...

Re: The "Little girl who" (was supposed to speak french)
Hello K Hale, and thanks for that comment. indeed, i checked it another time and, well you're right, she said "Bup be" and that is very close to "Pôpeeh" and seemed, at first listening, to be an attempt for the french "Poupée". So you've got the credit for pointing it ! :) However, the second line s...

So i am not suprised with your comments about him being a 'good' person.
