Re: Did You See the Sunrise? (2) (3.2)

Another reverse image flub. As TC is flying the Loach toward the Valley of the Temples you can see in at least one shot that the word "MARINES" on the tail section is reversed, as if the negative were reversed. Here's the screenshot: https://preview.ibb.co/ktK8mT/vlcsnap_2018_05_23_01h53m08s352.png...

Re: Did You See the Sunrise? (1) (3.1)

I believe this is a Old Sugar Mill, which can be seen on "Mad Buck Gibson', when Buck crashes the Ferrari: https://preview.ibb.co/e2utLo/vlcsnap_2018_05_23_00h12m09s349.png As noted by Kudu buck here: http://magnum-mania.com/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=100&start=45#p37834 Google Maps: https://www.goog...

* Also, I only noticed this for the first time when watching the episode last night – on the back section of his surf-ski, a Cross of Lorraine is painted. Screenshot: https://preview.ibb.co/egVdmT/vlcsnap_2018_05_23_11h42m51s994.png A Cross of Lorraine was visible in episode "Mad Buck Gibson" too (...

Re: Three Minus Two (2.22)

Problematic Plot Points: 1. Bart Lindsey's car is clearly empty just before it explodes. At least in my recording (if they didn't cut it out) it's not empty: https://preview.ibb.co/cEbSBT/vlcsnap_2018_05_22_21h34m00s689.png And the car after explosion doesn't seem to be very damaged (except for the...

Re: The Elmo Ziller Story (2.21)

As I stated in my post/rating for the episode "Billy Joe Bob"...I do not really like cowboy/western type episodes or movies! They're just too "hick/hillbilly" for my taste. I know usually they're supposed to be for humor purposes...but they're not funny--just stupid! :? "The Elmo Ziller Story" was ...

Re: Zachary Knighton

Icepick could be his nickname and Nicky - real name ;) he may have more nicknames other than The Kid. I wouldn't mind a crossover, i watch Hawaii Five-O reboot since the first season. I loved mentions about Five-O in original series. Would have loved to see crossover episode in the original series. ...

Re: The Last Page (2.20)

I assume that TM's call sign of White Knight is another reference (in addition to "How's tricks?") to his Lance White character on Rockford. Lance(lot) White - White Knight. Magnum's call sign in Vietnam was "White Knight", now that we saw Magnum P.I. reboot trailer we know why new TC calls him "Wh...

Re: The Trailer

I haven't watched "The Last Page" episode of the second season recently (will be watching it today or tomorrow), but according to Episode Guide notes list (#6), Magnum's call sign in Vietnam was "White Knight". Maybe Lenkov really put some work analysing the original.

Another one from Giuseppe... A boom mic is visible: http://magnum-mania.com/images/2_19_z.jpg This is interesting. Is this screen grab from a televised version? The mic-in-shot is nowhere to be found during this scene on the DVD. Was it digitally erased? It's on the DVDs, when Higgins says Jack "ap...

It was nice to hear TM telling "No Need to Now?" when JL didn't want to explain what her mission was for an agency (26:17 mark, when TM and JL were climbing rocks). It reminded of the Season 1 episode "No Need to Know". At 23:55 mark, top left you can seen a plane going up in the background: https:/...

Re: One More Summer (2.17)

When i watched this episode a year ago, i was surprised to see Dick Butkus on opening credits. Not that i'm a fan of American football, i don't even know the rules, i'm not from USA. I was surprised to see Lithuanian last name as i, myself, am Lithuanian. I instantly googled it and got confirmation ...

3) The name Semeri Ulufale can be seen on a closeup of the scoreboard. Semeri played at the Univ. of Hawaii ('77-'81) as a "wedge buster" on kickoffs. He was a fan favorite and his nickname was "Suicide Sam". He later played arena football for the Honolulu Hammerheads in his early 40s. He died in 2...

Quote from the Episode Guide: When Magnum pulls out of the estate after talking to Katrina, there is a shot of the Ferrari making a turn with a different driver, one with no baseball cap and a different shirt on. In the next immediate shot we see Magnum again with the correct cap and shirt. Here's t...
